Valletta

If one does not want to take the hop on hop off bus then the following makes for a nice day: Start by taking bus #31, 41 or 44 from the Valletta bus terminal to Mosta to see the 4th largest dome in the world as part of the Rotunda of St Marija Assunta Church. Then take bus #225 to Paceville or St. Julian's and walk along the coast direction to Sliema. There are many street cafe's and restaurants along the way to have lunch and/or spend a few hours at one of the water clubs where you gain access to the sea and showers. Then walk all the way to Sliema and take Tower Road to the Tigne Seafront where you have a ferry every 30 minutes back to Valletta. One can also return by bus from Sliema to Valletta Center.
