Excursion to Schaffhausen Rhinefalls

You first take a train from Zurich/Zurich Airport to Schaffhausen. At the Schaffhausen railway station you take the bus to the Rhinefalls. From Zurich you have direct trains to Schaffhausen at :05 and :35 minutes of every hour and the train takes 38 minutes. From the Airport you have direct trains to Schaffhausen at :57 minutes of every hour and the train takes 49 minutes (Train S24).

Upon arriving at the Schaffhausen railway station take bus #1 Direction «Herbstäcker/Rheinfall» and ride it until stop «Neuhausen Zentrum». From there you will find a walking path to the Rhinefalls which will takes 8 - 10 minutes.
