Departure Pier Basel
Depending on the water level, your cruise liner either leaves from St. Johanns Rheinweg 6 (regular arrival and departure Pier) or if the water levels are low from the main Harbor in Kleinhüningen. The departure from Kleinhüningen involves a 15 minute walk so to take a taxi would probably be the best if you carry much luggage!

To get to the regular Pier at St. Johanns Rheinweg 6 with the public transport, you would take tram #11 direction St. Louis Grenze and get off the tram at station St. Johanns Tor. From there it is a one minute walk down to the Rhein and you will see the Departure area upon arriving on the river bank.

In order to get to Kleinhüningen via public transportation, you would take tram #8 direction Kleinhüningen and ride it all the way out to the final stop. Then you cross the River Wiese and walk to your left along Hochbergstrasse for about 400 yards until it turns into Westquaistrasse. Then follow Westquaistrasse and you will see the cruise liners to your left.
